First commissions require at least 5 fittings. Depending on the complexity of the garment or body changes between visits, additional fittings may be required on top of that.
Further commissions require less fittings as we have your pattern. We may need to fit you once or twice if you have lost or gained weight. These fittings will also address the different characteristics that fabrics have.
Keep in mind that our process involves more steps than the average bespoke tailor. Please expect to visit us 6 times for your first commission and 1-2 times for further ones.
Your commission will need a minimum of 8 months production time. This can of course change depending on:
- How complex your model is
- Your availability
- Whether it's your first commission or not
- Changes in your body weight and posture between fittings
We will work closely with you to set clear expectations. By communicating each part of the process, we will keep you up to date and eliminate any misunderstandings.
While the end result is important, we want the process to be equally pleasant and memorable.
