In this story, Mowgli the "man-cub" is found in the Jungle as a baby and raised by the wolves, lead by Akela (original spelling). The goal for him is to survive the jungle and go back to the man-village once he grows up. This part of the story signifies the importance of a supportive family as the foundation of our development and the formation of our identity.
We are all Mowgli in a way; born in an unpredictable and dangerous world. But with the right foundation, we find our place in society and contribute towards its prosperity.
The emblem inside your hanger is based on Akela, the wise leader. Our vision begins with an aim towards excellence and mastery, so that we can create a strong foundation for our families and communities. It's how we at Akeilā strive to contribute to 'the man-village'.

The Akeilā hanger protects your wardrobe against moths; this functional purpose is a result of our efforts to bring the sublime into the practical world.
Your hanger comes with a bottle of pure cedar oil. Behind the bronze wolf is a piece of cedarwood. By releasing two drops of oil in each eye of the wolf, the wood absorbs the oil and continuously releases its warm woody scent.
Your wardrobe becomes a fragrant place for your garments but a hostile environment for moths and their larvae, making our hanger the guardian of your wardrobe. This monthly ritual increases the longevity of your suit.

Making of the Wolf Emblem
The bronze wolf is sculpted by founder Reza and is cast by hand in England.
Made from solid beech wood, this durable hanger is one of our products that we are most proud of.
Your hanger is made in Italy by Toscanini. It is then finished in-house at Akeilā. Your wolf emblem is individually patinated and inserted into your hanger by us in our studio. The wolf is sealed with a layer of Renaissance wax, a special wax used for the preservation of museum artefacts.
Your wolf's patina can be customised in three different styles; Ancient, Dark Amber or Plain. Which style represents you best?
